Starbound National Talent Competition
Recently, two Huaxia Bergen students, Isabel Shi and Christina Wang participated in the regional competition of Starbound National Talent Competition. Starbound is known for being America's largest dance competition. At Starbound, which took place on February 15 and 16 at Paramus Catholic High School , both students won a "High Gold" prize for solos in the junior and junior petite level, respectively. Christina's "rain drop" also received judge's award for best stage presence. This would not be possible without the help of the Huaxia dance teacher Wei Chen, who worked diligently to choreograph and teach the dances to our students.
