祝贺王朝芳女士当选为新一任华夏博根中文学校校长 (7/22/2018)
Congratulations to Ms Wendy Wang who becomes new principal for our school
尊敬的各位家长，老师和校务人员：
校董事会于7月21日召开临时董事会议，会议由王建锐董事长主持。王董事长首先感谢大家暑假期间抽出宝贵时间来开会，包括刚从国内返回不久就来参加会议的周翔董事。本次参加选举的王朝芳女士和李焰先生都是经过家长推荐，经由董事会成员提名产生的。两位候选人首先进行了自我介绍并阐述了各自对学校发展的看法和施政理念。随后各位董事纷纷就两位候选人发表了自己的看法并对新一任校长提出很多期许和宝贵意见。最后经过全体董事会成员现场投票，以及因身在国内不能参加会议的张元董事通过正式电子邮件发来的选票，王朝芳女士当选为新一任华夏博根中文学校校长。做为本次校长候选人的李焰董事首先与王朝芳校长握手表示祝贺，同时表示将全力支持其工作。其他董事也纷纷表示祝贺。王朝芳校长对董事会的信任和在被推荐过程中来自家长，老师和校务人员的支持表示衷心的感谢，同时也恳请大家同舟共济，一起为中文学校持续健康的发展共同努力。
在完成校长任命后，各位董事也就新学年的工作计划相互交换了意见。大家同意进一步完善有关学校董事选举，校长任命及财务管理的各项规章制度。有关本次会议的纪要将于近期在学校网站上发布。在此期间如果大家有什么疑问，欢迎您与董事会成员或王建锐董事长联系。

Dear Parents, Teachers and School Administrative Staff,
An additional meeting of the Board of Directors was held on July 21st. The meeting was hosted by President Jianrui Wang. Jianrui thanked everyone for attending the meeting during summer time, especially Mr. Sean Zhou who just returned from China.
The two candidates for the Principal are Ms. Chaofang Wang and Mr. Yan Li who have been recommended by the parents and nominated by the respective Directors. After their self-introduction and statement about the school administration, each of the Directors expressed their own opinion and provided good suggestions to the future new Principal.
Upon the voting of all present Directors (plus the vote sent via email by Mr. Yuan Zhang who is currently in China), Ms. Chaofang Wang was elected to be the new Principal of Huaxia Chinese School at Bergen. Yan first shook hands with Chaofang to congratulate her and promised to lend her full support. The other Directors also warmly congratulate Chaofang for her election.
As the new Principal, Chaofang sincerely thanked the BD for their trust and all the parents, teachers and school administrative staff for their support during the election. Meanwhile she asked everyone to please work together for continuous and healthy development of the Chinese school.
The Board of Directors also took the opportunity to discuss the work plan for the new school year. It was agreed to further develop regulations to standardize different processes, e.g., election of BD members, appointment of the Principal and financial management.
