Dear Parents,

1. The school will open this Sunday (10/4/2009).

2. Seek Bone Marrow Donor for Kevin Shen

Dear Friends at Hua Xia Chinese School,

I am writing to ask for your generosity and compassion to save the life of Kevin Shen, a 15 year old Chinese boy who has won so many people's hearts through his unimaginable courage in fighting for his life. Kevin suffers from the Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), a type of aggressive leukemiais. His life right now entirely depends on a matching bone marrow donor.

It would be greatly appreciated if our community could help to spread Kevin's story (http://www.hxbg.org/shared/Seek%20Bone%20Marrow%20Donor%20for%20KevinShen.doc">attached). A supporting group is exploring the feasibility of holding bone marrow drive in Hua Xia community on Saturdays.
