School Notice (5/1/2011 School Open)

Dear Parents,

The school will be open this Sunday (May 1st) at 9:30 AM.

1. Registration for the next school year (2011-2012) is ongoing. You are advised to not wait until the last moment. Otherwise you may have to stand in long lines. Please go to our school's registration site (http://www.hxbg.org/onlineregistration">http://www.hxbg.org/onlineregistration) and follow the directions for registration. You can pay in the school or mail the check to Huaxia Chinese School at Bergen, P.O. Box 9180, Paramus, NJ 07653. Please make sure to print out the registration form and sign it before paying. Pay before June 12, 2011 to have the registration fee waived.

2. According to school by-law, 1/3 of school board members will be replaced each year. This year three board members will proudly retire and we need three candidates. Please send your recommendations to Zheng Hong , Wang Qiang , or Wang Hong , parent meeting will be held on 5/15 for board election.

3. If you plan to go to China and need visas, please come to the cafeteria on May 1st or May 8th. A service provider will help you to obtain the right visas. Please see links for notice and form,

4. There will be a family financial seminar in room 134 this Sunday. Please see link for further information,

5. Visiting students from China will come to the United States in the Summer. Student volunteers who can speak both Chinese and English are needed as counselors. Please see links for application form and requirements.
