School Notice (5/15/2011 School Open)

Dear Parents:

The school will be open this Sunday (May 15th) at 9:30 AM.

1. School Board Election will be held this Sunday at 10:30 AM. According to the school by-law, 3 new board members will be elected. We strongly encourage all people who hold school membership to cast your vote. The following people are considered members:

1) A student over age 18 who is registered in a minimum of one class per semester.
2) A parent, legal guardian or grandparent of a student under age 18 who is registered in a minimum of one class per semester.
3) A current teacher, program coach, or administrative staff member.

2. Please advise your children to stay out of the Chapel on the second floor. All adults should not have activities in the Chapel either. The Chaplin of Paramus Catholic High School has complained that many things were disrupted there in the last two weeks.

3. Our graduation class will take the graduation exam this week at Huaxia New York. Let's wish them all good luck!

4. Registration for the next school year (2011-2012) is ongoing. You are advised not to wait until the last moment. Please go to our school's registration site ( http://www.hxbg.org/onlineregistration/) and follow the directions for registration. You can pay in the school or mail the check to Huaxia Chinese School at Bergen, P.O. Box 9180, Paramus, NJ 07653. Please make sure to print out the registration form and sign it before paying. Pay before June 12, 2011 to have the registration fee waived.
