Huaxia Bergen School Notice (School Open on 01/13/2013)

Dear Parents,

1. Chinese school will open on January 13th, 2013.

2. New SAT II Math class is open from January 13th to May 12th, 2013, at 11:20am-12:05pm, Room# 211. The teacher is Wang Yong, please see the introduction:
The SAT exam is a standardized entrance exam which is required to get admission into colleges across the US. A good score in the SAT exam can help in getting admission into a college of your choice. It is for this reason that the competition level is increasing every year with more and more students appearing for it. Though some students may be gifted, most others have to work hard to attain a better position. The importance of SAT prep class is very high in this respect. This class will have a primary focus on Mathematics part of general SAT test (SAT I). The material of SAT Subject (SAT II) test (Math level 1 and 2) will also be covered. Through the class you will learn the fundamental math knowledge required for the test and certain test-oriented technique. The instructor of the class has earned his Ph.D. degree in mathematics in US. He has taught various math classes, high school to college levels, in the past and has successful experience in tutoring individual students in SAT.

3. Class "Health and Body Cultivation for adults”, 10:25am-11:10am and 11:20am-12:05pm, Room #203. The teacher will be back this week.

4. Nobody can use any empty class room if not permitted. If really needed, please ask principal for permission, thanks.

6. New singing classes are open from 11:20am-12:05am and 12:20pm-01:00pm, room # 216
