Huaxia Bergen School Notice (School Open on 03/17/2013)

Dear Parents,

1. Chinese school will open on March 17th , 2013.

2. Parents are advised not to use empty classrooms without permission from the school. If there is an urgent need, please contact the principal at monahongwang@yahoo.com. Thank you for your cooperation.

4. Please be advised that parents are recommended to not stay in the classroom with students during the class because it interferes with the students' learning. Thank you for your cooperation.

5. There are nine board members in our Huaxia Chinese School at Bergen, Inc. Three board members will retire each year. This year we need to elect four new members.

According to our school by law, the eligibility for electing new members are:
1. A student over age 18 who is registered in a minimum of one class per semester.
2. A parent, legal guardian or grandparent of a student under age 18 who is registered in a minimum of one class per semester.
3. A current teacher, program coach, or administrative staff member.
We prefer someone who has two year experiences of teaching or working or volunteering in our school. People with background in accounting is a plus. If you wish to apply for or you know someone who is a good candidate, Please send us a nomination letter. You can write nominee's brief background ,years in Chinese School, qualifications, and anything you think that would be helpful for consideration.The deadline for nomination is 03/31/2013.
