Huaxia Bergen School Notice (School Open on 06/22/2014)

Dear Parents,

1. Chinese school will be open on June 22, 2014, the last day of school year, and the graduation ceremony will take place. Please report to your classroom at 9:30am if your Chinese class was in the 1st and 2nd periods, or 10:00am if your Chinese class was in the 3rd and 4th periods, there will be no cultural classes. The graduation ceremony will start at 10:30am in Gym. Please follow instructions from your teacher.

2. Registration for the 2014-2015 school year will continue. Please go to our school website www.hxbg.org to register online, print out the registration form, then summit the payment and form to Registration Manager Jing Hang in the cafeteria, or you may mail the form and payment to Huaxia Chinese school at Bergen, P.O. Box #9180. Paramus, NJ 07652.

3. IEF summer volunteer job for high school students is available, please see the details.

4. One of our students from Feng Libing Chinese class was awarded first place in NJ state foreign languages oral competition, sponsored by University of William Paterson. Congratulation!

5.Election of Board members for school year 2014-15

Congratulations to 陈国栋(Chen Guodong),廖世平 (Liao Shiping) for being elected to the board of directors of Huaxia Chinese School at Bergen, Inc. for the school year 2014-2015. They will join current board members , 李焰 (Li Yan), 黄智(Huang zhi) have completed their 3-year terms. Their contributions are greatly appreciated.
