4. Chinese knotting art belongs to one of the Chinese Cultural Heritage. The art has been developed in a variety of elegant knots used for decorations and for beautifying our daily life. Unfortunately, the art faces a risk of disappearance. It is critical to continue to pass down the art and to preserve it. Currently, the Chinese knotting art class has more than 30 students and is divided into 7 different levels from beginner to advanced level. The scope of teaching/learning is unique among the schools in the east coast. However, the current teacher is going to retire in the near future and we will need another teacher to continue this valuable class in our school. As it takes time to learn all the skills, we encourage any interested parent to register this class so he/she could carry out the crucial task and pass down the unique art. Please email to the teacher Mann-Lih Huang at tamlhuang@yahoo.com if you are interested.
5. Thank you for the great efforts of the School Board and the Administrative Team, 2015 Chinese New Year Celebration once again will be held in Frank Pombo's Bethwood on Saturday, February 14, 2015.
