Huaxia Bergen Chinese School Notice (8/15/2020)
Dear Parents,
为提高网课教学质量和效果，学校各课程班级学生人数控制在：
•学前小班、学前大班、学前CSL：12人以内;
•一年级、二年级中文课: 15人以内;
•三年级以上中文课: 18人之内;
•文体课：因班而异，6-15人不等。
同时2020年秋季学校新增1门小提琴课和3门Coding class，具体如下：

2.文体课# 47.1 Children’s Programming 001 (Scratch 3.0 Coding Based on Google CS First)
3.文体课# 47.2 Children’s Programming 002 (Introduction to Machine-learning based AI using Scratch)
4.文体课# 47.3 Children’s Programming 003 (Getting started with Python programming)
5.由于有些班已经满员，如果选完课，超过2个星期而没有付费的学生，学校可能需要把名额让给waiting list上的学生。谢谢您的合作！
为保证师资水平和教学质量，中文教师暑期培训一直进行中，但由于教师人数有限，学校可能无法满足所有开新班的需求。因此，如果家长希望自己的孩子能和他们熟悉的小朋友们一起继续中文，请尽快报名！

In order to improve the quality and effect of online teaching, the number of students in each course of the school is controlled within:
• Pre-school small class, pre-school big class, pre-school CSL: no more than 12 students;
• Chinese class for grade one and grade two: less than 15 students;
• Chinese classes above the third grade: within 18 students;
• Cultural classes: varies from class to class, ranging from 6-15 students.
At the same time, in the fall of 2020, the school will add 1 violin class and 3 coding class, as follows:

2.Cultural class# 47.1 Children’s Programming 001 (Scratch 3.0 Coding Based on Google CS First)
3.Cultural class# 47.2 Children’s Programming 002 (Introduction to Machine-learning based AI using Scratch)
4.Cultural class# 47.3 Children’s Programming 003 (Getting started with Python programming)
5.As some classes are already full, if the class is registered over 2 weeks without payment, the school may need to give places to the students on the waiting list. Thank you for your cooperation!
In order to ensure the level of teachers and the quality of teaching, summer training for Chinese teachers has been ongoing, but due to the limited number of teachers, the school may not be able to meet all the needs for opening new classes. Therefore, if parents want their children to continue learn Chinese with their familiar friends, please sign up as soon as possible!
