Huaxia Bergen Chinese School Notice (School Board Election, action needed)
各位家长，
根据HXBG School baylaw (ARTICLE V- B- 4)的要求，学校每位董事的任期为三年。今年我校有三位董事任期届满，将进行换届选举。
根据＂Huaxia Chinese School at Bergen (HXBG) 2020 Board of Director Election Guidelines＂，已于3月22日完成了董事候选人的提名。因疫情影响，我们将投票环节推迟到今年开学后进行。
由于本学期我们学校还是实行网课不能到校，因此投票形式也不同于以往。鉴于华夏各分校均已通过网络投票形式顺利完成换届选举，我们的投票工作也将用Google Form的形式进行。我们将会用E-mail的将选票发给每一位有投票资格的人员。为了保证每一位成员都能行使自己的权利，以及能充分体现本人的意愿，现收集每个家庭除用于注册用的电子邮箱以外的另一个电子邮箱，以便于我们能直接发送选票至每一位有投票资格的人员手中。请大家于9月27日前填写下列表格，以利于我们的选举工作按期进行。

1. 在校注册学生未满18周岁，则学生父母均有投票资格，则需填写此表提供除注册用电子邮箱外的另一个邮箱。
2. 在校注册学生未满18岁，且只有一个监护人，则无需填写此表。
3. 在校注册学生为成年人，且家庭中还有未满18周岁的注册学生，以未成年注册学生计票，不重复计票。则此家庭需要填写此表。
4. 在校注册学生年满18周岁，本人具有投票权，则无需填写此表。
5. 学校的董事会、校委会、老师等工作人员，如果家中有未满18周岁的注册学生，按此注册学生计票，不重复计票，则需要填写此表。
6. 学校的董事会、校委会、老师等工作人员，本人具有投票资格，如果家里没有未满18周岁的注册学生，则无需填写此表。

Dear parents,
According to the requirements of HXBG School Bylaws (ARTICLE V-B-4), the term of office of each member of the Board of Directors is three years. This year, the term of three directors of our school has expired and a general election will be held.
According to "Huaxia Chinese School at Bergen (HXBG) 2020 Board of Directors Election Guidelines", the nomination of director candidates was completed on March 22. Due to the impact of the pandemic, we postponed the voting session until after the start of school this year.
Since this semester our school still implements online classes and cannot go to school in-person, the voting method will differ from the past. In light of the fact that all branches of Huaxia have successfully completed the general election through online voting, our voting will also be conducted in the form of Google Form. We will use email to send the ballot to everyone who is eligible to vote. In order to ensure that each member can exercise their rights and fully reflect their wishes, we will collect an additional email address for each family in addition to the email address used for registration, so that we can directly send votes to each registered voter regardless of family association. Please fill out the following form before September 27 to facilitate our election work on schedule.

⚠️Filling instructions:
1. If the registered student is under 18 years of age, the parents of the student are eligible to vote. The parents must fill out this form and provide another email address besides the registered email address.
2. If the registered student is under 18 years of age and has only one guardian, there is no need to fill out this form.
3. If the registered student is an adult (older than or equal to 18 years of age), and there are registered students under the age of 18 in the family, the registered adult student does not receive an additional vote as a student but holds one vote as a parent of a minor student and needs to fill out the form.
4. Students registered in the school who are over 18 years of age and have no children registered with the school have the right to vote, so there is no need to fill out the form.
5. If the school’s Board of Directors, school administration, teachers and other staff have registered students under the age of 18 in the family, they need to fill out the form.
6. The school's Board of Directors, school committee, teachers and other staff members are qualified to vote. If there are no registered students under 18 years old at home, they do not need to fill out this form.
