1. 为了家长学校师生们的安全，我们将依照各级机构的条例条规，并将执行PCHS的规定。本周日3月6日是3月份第一个周日，PCHS需要每一位进入教学楼的老师、学生、义工及工作人员填写健康表格。

2、这周重要通知：董事会换届选举工作已经启动。2022年2月4日董事会讨论通过了“Huaxia Chinese School at Bergen (HXBG) 2022 Board Director Election Guidelines”。今年的董事换届选举将按如下程序进行:
1）从现在起至 3 月 27 日11:59pm为董事候选人提名时间。
2）2022 年 4 月 2日 – 董事会向家长介绍候选人，候选人自我介绍及董事会面试(在线)
3）2022 年 4 月 16-17 日，董事会选举和公布结果（在线）。
或2022 年 4 月 17 日，董事会选举和公布结果（现场）。
具体投票方式将于3月底公布。
3、因疫情中断的辩论比赛战火重燃，现兹定于2022年4月24日，华夏所有分校即将分赴二个区参加本次大赛。这是继华夏演讲朗诵比赛后的又一次全校性的线下教学交流活动，请鼓励同学们积极参与此次比赛。 此次的辩论主题为：正方：坚持中华传统价值观 有利于 在美国社会发展 反方：坚持中华传统价值观 不利于 在美国社会发展 。中华传统价值观举例（并不限于）：忍让、谦虚、中庸、刻苦、勤俭节约、家庭观念等等...
比赛将按年级分甲、乙两组举行。甲组由4-6年级学生组成；乙组由7年级以上学生组成。每场比赛的团体及个人成绩将由总校外聘专业裁判打分。各区团体奖：每组设团体一等奖 1 名，二等奖2 名，其余代表队皆为三等奖。各区个人奖：每场比赛个人得分最高者将获“最佳辩手奖”。
华夏总决赛：各区高年级组第一名将晋级华夏总决赛，争夺团体总冠军，时间另行通知。

4、华夏总校将于2022年5月28日举办第三届“华夏杯”网上中华知识竞赛，主旨在于激发学生对于中文的兴趣，增强学生与祖籍国的感情联系，通过竞赛加深了解中华文化知识。本次竞赛分4-6年级和 7-9年级两个组别，参赛组别报名请根据学生目前在中文学校的年级。欢迎华夏博根中文学校2021-2022注册学生和家长点击下面链接报名，报名截止日期是2022年5月15日12pm。竞赛复习题目链接在报名表里，请参考。https://forms.gle/es1iDCFVRyNf26eb7 如果报名人数过多，学校将在5月22日上午10-11点（4-6年级）和11:30-12:30点（7-9年级）举行校内竞赛，具体细节随后通知。
5、家长在孩子书包上贴上课程标签，在教学楼门口dropoff自己的孩子。学校义工和值班家长在9:40后尽量进入指定教室，不要在楼道里停留。
6、教学楼设有3个出入口～
(1) #1号门- 校委会工作台。
(2) #2号门和#3号门- 建议所有可进入教学楼的人员由此两道门进入。
(3) 9点50分之后#3号门仅用于三年级及以下的学生放学时，家长在#3号口接孩子。
(4) 四年级及以上的学生，所有老师，工作人员可以从三个门出入。

1. For the safety of teachers and students of parent schools, we will follow the regulations of all levels of institutions and implement the regulations of PCHS. This Sunday March 6th is the first Sunday in March and PCHS requires every teacher, student, volunteer and staff member entering the building to fill out a health form.

2. Important notice this week: The general election of the board of directors has been started. On February 4, 2022, the board discussed and approved the "Huaxia Chinese School at Bergen (HXBG) 2022 Board Director Election Guidelines". This year's director general election will be carried out according to the following procedures:
1) From now until 11:59pm on March 27th is the nomination time for director candidates.
2) April 2, 2022 - Board of Directors presentation of candidates to parents, candidate self-introduction and Board interview (online)
3) April 16-17, 2022, Board election and announcement of results (online).
Or April 17, 2022, Board election and results announced (onsite).
The specific voting method will be announced at the end of March.
3. The debate competition interrupted by the epidemic has reignited. It is now scheduled for April 24, 2022. All campuses in Huaxia will be divided into two districts to participate in this competition. This is another school-wide offline teaching exchange activity after the Huaxia Speech and Recitation Competition. Please encourage students to actively participate in this competition. The theme of this debate is: Pro: Adhering to traditional Chinese values is conducive to development in American society Contra: Adhering to traditional Chinese values is not conducive to development in American society. Examples of traditional Chinese values (not limited to): patience, modesty, moderation, hard work, diligence and thrift, family values, etc...
The competition will be held in two groups, grade A and B. Group A consists of students in grades 4-6; Group B consists of students in grades 7 and above. The team and individual results of each game will be scored by professional referees outside the school. Group awards for each district: Each group will have 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, and the rest of the teams will be awarded third prizes. Individual awards in each district: The person with the highest individual score in each game will receive the "Best Debater Award".
Huaxia Finals: The first place in the senior group of each district will advance to the Huaxia Finals to compete for the team championship. The time will be notified separately.

4. Huaxia Headquarters will hold the third "Huaxia Cup" online Chinese knowledge contest on May 28, 2022. The main purpose is to stimulate students' interest in Chinese, enhance the emotional connection between students and their home countries, and deepen their understanding of Chinese culture through the competition. Knowledge. This competition is divided into two groups: grades 4-6 and grades 7-9. The registration of the participating groups should be based on the current grade of the student in the Chinese school. 5. Parents put a course label on their children's schoolbags and dropoff their children at the entrance of the teaching building. School volunteers and parents on duty should try to enter the designated classroom after 9:40 and do not stay in the corridor.
6. There are 3 entrances and exits in the teaching building~
(1) Gate #1 - School Committee Workbench.
(2) Doors #2 and #3 - It is recommended that all persons who can enter the teaching building enter through these two doors.
(3) After 9:50, gate #3 is only used for students in grade 3 and below after school, and parents will pick up their children at gate #3.
(4) Students in grades 4 and above, all teachers, and staff can enter and exit through three doors.
