Huaxia Bergen Chinese School Notice (School Open on 12/17/2023)

1、12月17日（周日）校历第十三周，这是2023年的最后一次中文学校开课日，华夏博根全体工作人员和老师们在熟悉的校园等着你！
Special event: 为支持学校建设并为学生提供更多优质的图书资源，华夏博根中文学校将于12月17日举办图书义卖特别活动，希望全体家长踊跃参与。
家长可于本周末将您家中闲置的干净无严重破损的图书捐赠至学校，我们将在同一天举行义卖活动，这项活动将为学生们提供更广泛的阅读选择以提高他们的中文阅读能力，同时为学校建设筹集更多经费。此次义卖所得款项将全额用于学校建设，为孩子们提供更丰富的学习资源。诚挚欢迎各位家长和学生加入义工团队协助这次活动.
活动具体安排：

2、2024年华夏总校北区演讲比赛将于1月28日在纽约中心分校实地现场举行。华夏博根中文学校的报名正式启动，参赛学生的年龄需要在5到10岁之间。欢迎有兴趣的学生和家长向学生所在的中文课老师报名。报名截止日期为2023年12月16日。学校汇集报名名单后，将组织集中培训和练习。
3、2023第四届海投全球-“华夏杯”绘画大赛于本周日截止报名，请有意参赛人员尽快联系刘一帆副校长报名（sliu07652@yahoo.com)，取得报名序号及密码。取得序号及密码后请于当周日到North Cafeteria 交报名费。
4、根据学校教学要求，家长将孩子送到教室门口后，请不要在教室里多作停留。为保证课堂教学质量和教学效果，请家长不要坐到教室里，除非任课教师许可。
根据PCHS的安全要求，从本周起教学楼的#4、18和22号门只开到9: 45am，之后请使用# 21 North Cafeteria 的门进入教学楼，请大家遵照执行。
良好的教学环境需要全校师生及家长努力维护。为了保证学校能够平稳良性地运行，请全体人员自觉遵守以下校规：
❗️课间休息时，严禁学生在楼道及公共区域奔跑打闹，以防发生意外；
❗️严禁学生进入二楼禁止入内的区域；
❗️严禁学生在电梯内外玩耍。
❗️为保证学校的教学秩序，请家长按学校要求不要在教室门口及走廊聊天喧哗，上课时段请移步到North Cafeteria .
❗️严禁携宠物进入教学楼。

1. December 17th (Sunday) is the thirteenth day of the academic calendar. This is the last Chinese school opening day in 2023. All the staff and teachers of Huaxia Bergen are waiting for you on the familiar campus!
Special event: In order to support school construction and provide students with more high-quality book resources, Huaxia Bergen Chinese School will hold a special book charity event on December 17. We hope that all parents will actively participate.
Parents can donate clean and non-seriously damaged books that are unused at home to the school this weekend. We will hold a charity sale on the same day. This activity will provide students with a wider range of reading choices to improve their Chinese reading ability. At the same time, more funds are raised for school construction. All proceeds from this charity sale will be used for school construction to provide children with richer learning resources. We sincerely welcome all parents and students to join the volunteer team to assist in this event.

2. The 2024 Huaxia Main Campus North District Speech Contest will be held on January 28 at the New York Central Campus. Registration for Huaxia Bergen Chinese School has officially started, and participating students need to be between 5 and 10 years old. Interested students and parents are welcome to register with their Chinese class teachers. The deadline for registration is December 16, 2023. After the school collects the registration list, it will organize centralized training and practice.
3. Registration for the 2023 Fourth Haitou Global-"Huaxia Cup" Painting Competition closes on this Sunday. Those interested in participating should contact Vice President Liu Yifan to register as soon as possible (sliu07652@yahoo.com) to obtain the registration serial number and password. After obtaining the serial number and password, please go to North Cafeteria to pay the registration fee on that Sunday.
4. According to school teaching requirements, parents please do not stay in the classroom for too long after sending their children to the classroom door. To ensure the quality and effectiveness of classroom teaching, parents are asked not to sit in the classroom unless given permission by the teacher.
According to the safety requirements of PCHS, starting this week, doors #4, 18 and 22 of the teaching building will only be open until 9:45am. After that, please use the door of #21 North Cafeteria to enter the teaching building. Please follow these instructions.
A good teaching environment requires the efforts of all teachers, students and parents of the school to maintain it. In order to ensure the smooth and healthy operation of the school, all personnel are required to voluntarily abide by the following school rules:
❗️During recess, students are strictly prohibited from running and playing in corridors and public areas to prevent accidents;
❗️Students are strictly prohibited from entering the prohibited areas on the second floor;
❗️Students are strictly prohibited from playing inside and outside the elevator.
❗️In order to ensure the school's teaching order, parents are requested not to chat or make noise at the classroom door and corridors according to the school's requirements. Please move to the North Cafeteria during school hours.
❗️It is strictly prohibited to bring pets into the teaching building.
