如果您有意成为董事会候选人，请在2024年3月31日之前联系我们现任的董事会秘书朱健辉董事（邮箱： 09jianhui.zhu@gmail.com）。朱健辉董事将为您提供有关提名程序和任何必要要求的进一步细节。此外，您可以在上学时间前往学校北餐厅与学校管理团队联系。那里的工作人员可能会指引您与当前董事会成员中的一位联系。最终候选人将于2024年4月14日确定。

Call for Board Member Candidates: Annual Election
Dear Huaxia Chinese School at Bergen Members,
As we prepare for our annual board election, we are seeking dedicated individuals who are committed to the mission and success of Huaxia Chinese School at Bergen to run for a position on the board of directors. Serving on the board offers an opportunity to shape the future of our school and contribute to its continued growth and excellence.
If you are interested in becoming a candidate for the board, please contact our current board secretary, Jianhui Zhu, at 09jianhui.zhu@gmail.com by March 31, 2024. Jianhui will provide you with further details on the nomination process and any necessary requirements. Additionally, you can reach out to the school administration team at the North cafeteria during school hours. The staff there may guide you to one of the current board members. The final candidates will be determined on April 14, 2024.
The Board of Directors plays a crucial role in the governance and management of our school. As outlined in our Bylaws, the Board possesses the following powers:
Sole authority, jurisdiction, and voting power over all the property of the School, conduct of the School’s affairs, election of all Officers of the Board, and other powers as given by law and our Bylaws.
Specific powers include:
a. Appointing and removing the School Principal.
b. Formulating administrative and academic policies.
c. Approving the appointment of administrative staff by the Principal.
d. Approving the annual budget submitted by the Principal and
reviewing budget reports.
e. Reviewing annual academic plans and curricula.
f. Auditing the School's finances and accounts.
