Huaxia Bergen Chinese School Board Election Notice (4/17/2024)
各位家长，老师及相关工作人员大家好！
根据＂Huaxia Chinese School at Bergen (HXBG) 2024 Board of Director Election Guidelines＂，我们的换届选举工作马上就要进入投票阶段。今年的投票是在学校进行in person投票，投票日期：2024年4月21日9:30am - 1:00pm,4月28日9:30am - 1:00pm 以及5月5日9：30am - 11:45am. 投票截止后会于5月5日中午12点在学校Cafeteria进行现场唱票。家长们可以在学校1号门，3号门和Cafeteria（2号门进入）领取选票并现场填写投票,学校地图附在下方。希望大家本着主人翁的精神，支持学校的工作，积极参与董事选举投票。
今年有3位董事候选人，分别是沈澄宇先生，姜燕女士，以及王志红女士，请查阅附件里的董事候选人简历。

投票规则：
1.凡2023-2024学年未满18周岁的注册学生，家长有两张有效选票。
2.凡2023-2024学年年满18周岁以上的注册学生，学生有一张有效选票。
3.凡2023-2024学年年满18周岁以上的注册学生，同一家庭中也有未满18周岁的注册学生，投票规则参见第1条。
4.凡2023-2024学年在学校的任课老师、董事会、校委会成员，同一家庭中没有本学年的注册学生，有一张有效选票。
5.凡2023-2024学年在学校的任课老师、董事会、校委会成员，同一家庭中有本学年未满18周岁的注册学生，投票规则参见第1条。
以上选举规则，解释权为2024年华夏博根中文学校董事换届选举领导小组。

Hello, everyone!
According to "Huaxia Chinese School at Bergen (HXBG) 2024 Board of Director Election Guidelines", Our transitional election is about to enter the voting phase. This year's voting will be conducted in person at the school, with the following dates and times: April 21, 2024, from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm; April 28, 2024, from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm; and May 5, 2024, from 9:30 am to 11:45 am. After the voting deadline, a live vote count will be held in the school cafeteria at noon on May 5. Parents can obtain ballots and vote on-site at Gate 1, Gate 3, and the cafeteria (accessible via Gate 2). The school map is attached below. We hope everyone will embody the spirit of ownership, support the school's work, and actively participate in the board member election voting.
This year, there are three board member candidates: Mr. Shen Chengyu, Ms. Jiang Yan, and Ms. Wang Zhihong. Please refer to the attached resumes of the board member candidates.

Voting Rules:
1. Parents of registered students under the age of 18 for the 2023-2024 academic year have two valid votes.
2. Registered students who are 18 years old or older for the 2023-2024 academic year have one valid vote.
3. If there are registered students who are 18 years old or older for the 2023-2024 academic year in the same household as those under 18, refer to Rule 1 for voting.
4. Teachers, board members, and committee members at the school for the 2023-2024 academic year who do not have registered students in the same household have one valid vote.
5. If teachers, board members, or committee members at the school for the 2023-2024 academic year have registered students under 18 in the same household, refer to Rule 1 for voting.
The right to interpret the above election rules belongs to the 2024 Huaxia Bergen Chinese School Director General Election Leading Group.
