1、本周为2024－2025学年期末考试周（Final Exam ），请同学们按照本班老师的安排准时到校参加考试。

2、华夏博根中文学校2025年 第二届“博根杯”识字比赛通知
识字比赛是一项趣味性的中文学习活动，能帮助学生增强识字兴趣、从而更好地掌握字词，为阅读与写作打下基础。
本次比赛面向中文课3年级及以上注册学生，设三个年级组：
• 3-4年级组（使用HSK3级600个汉字）
• 5-7年级组（使用HSK4级1200个汉字）
• 8年级及以上组（使用HSK5级2500个汉字）
比赛时间：2025年5月4日
•上午9:40：5-7年级组、8年级以上组
•上午11:20：3-4年级组
比赛地点：另行通知
考试形式：笔试（写拼音+组词）

⚠️ 中文学校与Paramus Catholic High School有明确的场地使用合同，仅限使用合同中指定的教室和公共区域，任何人不得擅自使用未授权场地。如违规使用，产生的任何问题和费用将由责任人自行承担。

1. This week is the final exam week of the 2024-2025 school year (Final Exam ), please come to school on time to take the exam according to your class teacher's arrangement.

2. Huaxia Bergen Chinese School 2025 Second “Bergen Cup” Literacy Contest Notice
Literacy Contest is a fun Chinese learning activity that helps students to enhance their interest in literacy, so that they can better master the vocabulary and lay a foundation for reading and writing.
The competition is open to students enrolled in Chinese language classes from Grade 3 and above, and there are three groups:
- Grade 3-4 group (using 600 Chinese characters of HSK3)
- Grade 5-7 group (using 1200 Chinese characters of HSK4)
- Grade 8 and above group (using 2500 Chinese characters of HSK5). (using HSK5 level 2500 kanji)
Competition time: May 4, 2025
- 9:40 am: 5-7 grade group, 8 grade and above group
- 11:20 am: 3-4 grade group
Competition place: to be announced
Test format: written test (writing pinyin + word formation)
Students are welcome to register!

3、Notice of Family Wealth Management Seminar
New York Life will hold a practical family wealth management seminar this Sunday (April 27) from 10:30-11:30am:
“Family Wealth Management: Retirement Planning and Tax Diversification”
The seminar will cover:
- Educational Benefits and Pension Planning
- Retirement Retirement Accounts and Tax Optimization
- Common Chinese Financial Misconceptions and Strategies

⚠️ To ensure safety, students are strictly prohibited from entering the hidden hallways on the second floor of the building adjacent to classrooms 210, 208, and 206 during the classroom area. Teachers and parents are asked to remind students to follow the rules.
⚠️ Parents are reminded to remind their children to abide by school rules and regulations and to maintain the school's public facilities and public hygiene.
⚠️ In order to maintain good teaching and learning order, parents are not allowed to enter the classrooms during the school day, except for the duty classroom parents.
Volunteers in the classrooms are encouraged to focus on assisting in the teaching and learning process and to avoid using electronic devices that may affect the students' ability to listen to the lesson.
⚠️ The speed limit in the school zone is 10 mph. Please slow down and pay attention to pedestrian safety.
⚠️ Chinese School has a clear contract with Paramus Catholic High School for the use of space. Use of classrooms and common areas designated in the contract is limited, and no one is allowed to use unauthorized space without authorization. Any problems and costs incurred in the event of unauthorized use will be the sole responsibility of the responsible party.
⚠️ In accordance with the school's pest protection requirements, 🈲️ eating in the classroom is strictly prohibited!
