2026年华夏总校北区演讲比赛将于： 2026年1月25日（周日）下午 2:00在华夏博根中文学校（Bergen）举办。

华夏博根中文学校的演讲比赛报名现已开放，欢迎有兴趣的同学填写报名表：

学校将在汇总报名名单后，根据报名人数统一组织集中培训和演练。

报名要求：
1. 学生年龄需在 5–10岁之间。
2. 演讲稿由家庭协助准备，要求：
• 时长 2–3 分钟
• 主题：“所见所闻”（人物、事件皆可）
• 鼓励讲述真实经历，更容易引发共鸣
• 题材自由，形式不限
• 全程普通话，不可使用方言
• 演讲不得配乐

2. “华夏杯”国际青少年儿童绘画大赛

2025年“华夏杯”国际青少年儿童绘画大赛（第六届）正在进行中。
比赛时间：10月–12月
宗旨：激发青少年通过绘画表达对未来的美好愿景。

📌 参赛学生可至校委会工作台购买编号与密码，费用 $30/人，每位学生限购一个编号。

⚠️ 教室及场地使用限制
学校与 Paramus Catholic High School 的场地合同仅限使用指定教室和公共区域。
请勿进入未授权场地，否则后果自负。
所有教室与场地仅供教学活动使用，未经校方许可不得私自占用。

⚠️ 纪律
请提醒孩子遵守规章制度，爱护公共设施，不得随意翻动教室内的物品和书籍。
• 第一次违反：口头警告并记录在案；
• 第二次违反：老师将通知家长配合教育；
• 第三次违反：学生将被送至校长办公室，并通知家长立即到校带回。

⚠️ 安全
课间禁止学生进入教学楼二层 210、208、206 附近的隐蔽走廊。请老师和家长务必提醒。

⚠️ 课堂秩序
上课期间家长不得进入教室（值日班爸班妈除外）。
课堂义工请专注协助教学，避免使用电子设备影响课堂秩序。

⚠️ 交通安全
校区内车速限 10 英里/小时。请减速慢行，注意行人。

⚠️ 饮食规定
根据学校防虫要求，🈲️ 禁止在教室内进餐。

November 23, 2025 (Week 12 of the School Calendar)
This week's school announcements are as follows:

1. Registration for the 2026 Huaxia Main Campus North District Speech Contest

The 2026 Huaxia North Campus Speech Contest will be held on:
Sunday, January 25, 2026, at 2:00 PM
at Huaxia Bergen Chinese School (Bergen).

Registration for Huaxia Bergen Chinese School's speech contest is now open. Interested students are welcome to complete the registration form:

⏰ Registration Deadline: November 24, 2025

After compiling the registration list, the school will organize centralized training and rehearsals based on the number of participants.

Registration Requirements:
1. Students must be between 5–10 years old.
2. Speeches must be prepared with family assistance and meet the following requirements:
• Duration: 2–3 minutes
• Theme: “What I See and Hear” (people or events)
• Real-life experiences are encouraged for greater resonance
• Topic and format are unrestricted
• Entire speech must be in Mandarin Chinese; dialects are not permitted
• No background music allowed

2. Huaxia Cup International Youth and Children's Painting Competition

The 2025 Huaxia Cup International Youth and Children's Painting Competition (6th Edition) is now underway.
Competition Period: October–December
Purpose: To inspire youth to express their vision for the future through art.

📌 Students may purchase a unique code and password at the School Committee Workstation for $30 per person. Each student is limited to one code.

‼️ Important Notes ‼️

⚠️ Classroom and Facility Usage Restrictions
The school's facility agreement with Paramus Catholic High School permits use only in designated classrooms and common areas.
Unauthorized access to restricted areas is strictly prohibited.
All classrooms and facilities are for educational purposes only. Unauthorized occupation is prohibited without school permission.

⚠️ Discipline
Remind children to follow rules, respect facilities, and refrain from moving classroom items or books without permission.
• First offense: Verbal warning with record kept
• Second offense: Teacher will notify parents for cooperative discipline
• Third offense: Student will be sent to the principal's office, and parents will be notified to pick them up immediately.

⚠️ Safety
Students are prohibited from entering the concealed corridor near classrooms 210, 208, and 206 on the second floor during breaks. Teachers and parents must remind students of this rule.

⚠️ Classroom Order
Parents are not permitted in classrooms during lessons (except for parents on duty).
Classroom volunteers should focus on assisting teaching and avoid using electronic devices that disrupt classroom order.

⚠️ Traffic Safety
The speed limit on campus is 10 mph. Please slow down and watch for pedestrians.

⚠️ Food Policy
Due to pest control requirements, 🈲️ eating in classrooms is prohibited.
