2026年4月26日（校历二十九周），本周学校通知如下：
1. 🌟🏆第三届“博根杯”认字比赛获奖名单🌟🏆
2026年4月19日，华夏博根中文学校第三届“博根杯”认字比赛顺利举行。感谢同学们认真准备、积极参与，感谢老师和家长们一直以来的支持与配合。
本次比赛分为3–6年级组和7年级以上组。由于今年组别跨度较大，低年级同学需要与高年级同学同场竞技，难度明显增加。但比赛中，许多低年级同学沉着应对、表现突出，展现了扎实的识字基础和良好的心理素质，也让大家看到了他们的努力与潜力。
各组分别设一等奖2名、二等奖3名、三等奖4名。获奖学生将于2026年5月10日毕业典礼上领取奖杯及Amazon Gift Cards。
3–6年级组

课堂秩序
上课期间家长请勿进入教室（值日班爸班妈除外）。课堂义工请专心协助教学，尽量避免使用电子设备。
交通安全
校区内车速限 10 mph，请减速慢行，注意行人安全。

Dear Parents,
April 26, 2026 (Week 29 of the School Calendar)
This week's school notifications are as follows:
1. 🌟🏆 Winners of the 3rd "Bergen Cup" Chinese Character Recognition Competition 🌟🏆
On April 19, 2026, the 3rd "Bergen Cup" Chinese Character Recognition Competition was successfully held. We would like to thank the students for their diligent preparation and active participation, as well as the teachers and parents for their continuous support and cooperation.
The competition was divided into Grades 3–6 and Grades 7+. Due to the wide grade spans this year, younger students had to compete against older students, which significantly increased the difficulty. However, many younger students remained calm and performed exceptionally well, demonstrating a solid foundation in literacy and great mental resilience. They showed everyone their hard work and potential.
Each group awarded 2 First Place winners, 3 Second Place winners, and 4 Third Place winners. Award recipients will receive trophies and Amazon Gift Cards at the Graduation Ceremony on May 10, 2026.

2. Final Exams
Final exams for this semester will take place next Sunday, May 3. Parents, please remind your children to carefully review the content assigned by their teachers. We hope students prepare in advance and review thoroughly to face the exams in their best state and strive for good results!
3. 🌈 Summer Activity Information (For Reference)
The 2026 CEMC Oradell VBS "Happy Angel" Summer Camp will be held from 6/22 to 6/26 (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM). Activities include Bible stories, games, crafts, music, and snacks. Suitable for students aged 5–14.

Facility Usage
The school's contract with Paramus Catholic High School is limited to designated classrooms and public areas. Please do not enter unauthorized areas or organize activities unrelated to teaching.
Safety Reminder
During breaks, please do not go to the secluded hallway areas near classrooms 210, 208, and 206 on the second floor of the teaching building.
Classroom Order
Parents are not allowed in classrooms during instruction (except for parent-volunteers on duty). Classroom volunteers should focus on assisting the teaching and avoid using electronic devices.
Traffic Safety
The speed limit on campus is 10 mph. Please slow down and pay attention to pedestrian safety.
