🎃 1. 万圣节游行
一年一度的万圣节游行来啦！本周日（10月25日），欢迎所有同学穿上自己喜欢的 Halloween costume，到校参加这个有趣又热闹的传统活动！学校也为大家准备了各种糖果，一起欢乐过万圣节！
🎃 游行时间及安排：
- 第二节课将提前10分钟，于 11:00 AM 下课。
- 第三节课将推迟10分钟，于 11:30 AM 上课。
- 请参加游行的同学在 GYM北侧与教室130-134之间的走廊集合，大家将绕校园游行一周，再返回NORTH CAFETERIA 领取糖果。
☔ 温馨提示： 如遇下雨，游行将改在楼道内进行。
2. 📱 微信群使用说明
华夏博根中文学校信息群用于发布学校的通知和活动信息，并解答与学校相关的咨询，仅对现任董事会及校委会成员、老师、注册学生及家长开放。
请群内朋友按以下4种格式更新群聊昵称：
♦️现任校董或校务人员：xxx-现任职务（注：凡学校网站上有明确现任职务的请务必注明便于工作联系）；

3. 🎨 第七届“华夏杯”国际青少年儿童绘画大赛
大赛主题：少年笔下人类共同的家园
📌 截止日期：2026年12月21日
📌 报名费：$30/人，每位学生限购一个参赛编号
📌 报名方式：到学校校委会工作台报名，购买参赛编号和密码。

课间请勿前往教学楼二层210、208、206教室附近的隐蔽走廊区域。

Hello, parents and students!
The new school year has now entered its seventh week (October 25). Below are this week’s school announcements and friendly reminders—please take note.
🎃 1. Halloween Parade
The annual Halloween Parade is here! This Sunday (October 25), all students are welcome to wear their favorite Halloween costumes and come to school to participate in this fun and lively traditional event! The school has also prepared a variety of candy for everyone—let’s celebrate Halloween together!
🎃 Parade Schedule and Arrangements:
- The second period will end 10 minutes early, at 11:00 AM.
- The third period will start 10 minutes later, at 11:30 AM.
- Students participating in the parade should gather in the hallway between the north side of the gym and classrooms 130–134. We’ll march around the campus once and then return to the North Cafeteria to pick up candy.
☔ Note: In case of rain, the parade will be held in the hallways.
2. 📱 WeChat Group Guidelines
The Huaxia Bergen Chinese School Information Group is used to post school announcements and event information, as well as to answer school-related inquiries. It is open only to current Board of Directors and School Committee members, teachers, enrolled students, and parents.
Group members are asked to update their group nicknames using one of the following four formats:
♦️ Current Board Members or School Staff: xxx-Current Position (Note: If your current position is clearly listed on the school website, please be sure to include it to facilitate work-related communication);
♦️ Classroom Teachers: xxx-Teacher-Subject and Class Taught;
♦️ Enrolled Students (Adults): xxx-Name of Enrolled Course;
♦️ Parents of Enrolled Students: xxx-Student’s Name-Student’s Class;
⚠️ Note: “xxx” refers to your full name (real name).
3. 🎨 The 7th “Huaxia Cup” International Youth and Children’s Painting Competition
Competition Theme: “Our Shared Home Through the Eyes of Youth”
📌 Deadline: December 21, 2026
📌 Entry Fee: $30 per person; each student is limited to one entry number
📌 How to Register: Register at the School Committee desk to purchase a contest ID and password.

4. 📚 Registration for the 2026–2027 School Year Is Still Open
The school is currently accepting applications from both new and returning students. We offer a rich and comprehensive Chinese curriculum, as well as a wide variety of cultural, sports, and extracurricular activities. We welcome everyone to sign up.

＊Use of School Premises
Please do not enter unauthorized areas of the school. Organizing non-academic activities on campus is strictly prohibited.
＊Discipline and Order
Please remind your children to follow school rules, take care of school property, and refrain from tampering with or using classroom items without permission. Violations may result in a warning, a call to parents, or a request for parents to come to school to assist in resolving the issue, depending on the circumstances.
＊Safety Reminder
During breaks, please do not go to the secluded hallway area near classrooms 210, 208, and 206 on the second floor of the academic building.
＊Classroom Order
Parents are not permitted to enter classrooms during class time (except for parents on duty).
＊Traffic Safety
The speed limit on campus is 10 mph. Please slow down and watch out for pedestrians.
