School Notice (5/11/08 school open at 9:00AM & end at 1:00PM)
Dear Parents,
Happy Mother's Day!
1, The school will open this Sunday, May 11th, 2008 at 9:00AM and end at 1:00PM. It is one hour early and one hour longer than usual! Please check
our school web site for special time and class arrangement on 5/11 and 5/18.
2. The speech contest for low classes are held on 4/27, please check
our school web site for prize winner list.
3, 2008 Huaxia track & field game was held on 5/3 as scheduled, our school student Ethan Zang won the 1st place in tennis ball throw, and parent Xu Zhijian won the 3rd place in high jump and the 4th place in long jump.
4, The seminar "Education Funding 101--Effective ways to accumulate education funds" will be held on 5/11 10:00am at #214.
5, Penda Travel Agency will come to school and handle visa related items at 10am, please see related info following

6, Now is the time of the school year again when you will need to elect our new school principal and the new members of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA). As parents of registered students at the school, you are also strongly encouraged to serve as the new school principal or the new PTA members!

7, We recently received notices from Paramus Catholic High School (our rental school), all parents please obey the following rules, 1) Please don't drop off your kid in the north entrance, we will close the north entrance and parents not to pick up or drop off students on either the entrance or exit road. 2) The hallways and parking lots can't be used for classes. 3) Smoking is not allowed in the campus. 4) Any individual or company shouldn't put advertisements on the cars parked in the parking lot.
8, Our School By-law Review/Update: our school joint meeting was held on 10/21/07 and agreed unanimously to update school By-law. After parent meeting on 11/25, our school decided to review the HXBG School By-law to adapt the school's growing and to better operate the educational program, and to correct flaw and deficiency in the current By-law which we have used for many years. After careful consideration and discussion, the draft version was already completed, please review and your precious suggestions are welcome.
