School Notice (6/1/08 school close)

Dear Parents,

1. The school will close this Sunday, June 1st, 2008.

2. Since our school will close on 5/25 and 6/1, PTA set up one PO BOX in Paramus, parents still can continue making your donations, please send your donations to,

3. Our Chinese traditional Dragon-Boat Festival (Duan Wu Jie) comes, in order to make donations for earthquake, "Zong Zi" sale will be held on 6/8, all the money collected will be donated to people in the disaster area.

4. Now is the time of the school year again when you will need to elect our new school principal and the new members of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA). As parents of registered students at the school, you are also strongly encouraged to serve as the new school principal or the new PTA members!

5. Our School By-law Review/Update: our school joint meeting was held on 10/21/07 and agreed unanimously to update school By-law. After parent meeting on 11/25, our school decided to review the HXBG School By-law to adapt the school's growing and to better operate the educational program, and to correct flaw and deficiency in the current By-law which we have used for many years. Now our schools' new By-Law (draft) has been posted on school website from 3/9/08 - 5/17/08 for parent review and inputs. Last Sunday 10:00am at South Cafeteria the final session for discussing issues about this draft. After this discussion, the By-law committee accepted many reasonable suggestions and opinions and will make some updates,
